It has been an absolute pleasure to use the services of Uplifting Interiors to partner with us on our recent home renovation project. The overall scope of the renovations was over 3 floors, including 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a new semi-bespoke kitchen. We were shown several concept designs that allowed us to imagine what could be, given sample materials for tiles and carpets and provided guidance on furnishing ideas. The detailed specifications were used to then brief the builders, wooden floor/ carpet fitters, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and decorators. All these artefacts helped to manage the project with multiple contractors and with Asta on hand to help ensure that these were executed as closely as possible. We really appreciated her hard work and going above on beyond to give us the best service. Throughout we always felt our needs were being addressed. And we have no hesitation in recommending Uplifting Interiors to anyone looking for a professional, committed and creative interior design service. We located Asta on Houzz as we needed guidance to help us design our main bedroom. Not only was she accessible but she was able to create the ambiance that we required whilst working to a realistic budget. The visual concepts she produced were amazing, good value for money and gave us the opportunity to make our own decision on what we liked. She really maximised the space available. Well, what can we say about Asta other than she brilliant from our first conversation to the end of our refurbishment.
She initially asked us what we hoped to achieve by the end of the project by coming round, going through every room in fine detail, taking measurements and giving ideas of what together we thought would work in each room.
She went away, drew up the plans and submitted them back to us within the time scale agreed. We took our time to go over the plans/drawings and anything we weren’t quite sure of Asta took her time to explain or change anything we asked, she was always on the end of the phone should we need to discuss anything. We were given everything we needed from ideas on furniture, fittings, decor, paint, cushions etc.

I've contacted Uplifting Interiors to create a concept for my twin boys' bedroom. I wanted a room to be inspiring and fun but most of all age appropriate. Asta kindly gave me a phone based consultation to discuss our needs and requirements. Soon after, Asta came back to me with two beautiful and playful mood boards. I was very pleased that Asta worked with what we've already had and suggested to re-use the existing toddler beds and refurbish storage units by giving it a new coat of colour and adding some funky handles. Both of these options were full of inspirational artwork, bright colours and beautiful accessories. Asta was amazing to work with - so patient, creative, collaborative. We are delighted with Asta's designed kitchen - living room extension. She created semi open kitchen - dinning - living space where all family can gather and it became a focal point in our house. We love it! Good space planning and lighting design made a huge difference making it very functional and bright, it's light here even in winter months. We had a fixed budget and she atchieved it while still using good quality interior fixtures and materials. Also she supervised the build and negotiated with builders which allowed us to atchieve exactly what we wanted. Hugely reccomend!

When we contacted Asta to help us with the space planning for our South West London house, we already undergone some structural changes. We removed the partition separating two ground floor rooms but had no idea how to aproach this larger living space. Asta was professional from the minute we met, listen carefully to our needs and worked well with our small budget. She had fantastic ideas of how to make the best possible use of this space by zoning the room, reusing some of our existing furniture and incorporating desk into alcove joinery. I hired Asta for colour and finishes consultation for our 1960s end of terrace. She gave us excellent advice on colour scheme for our dark hallway and staircase, new wallpaper and complementary paint tone completely transformed our lounge and dining room. Following colour consultation, we received written specification detailing our chosen colour pallets for each room including wallpapers reference and even some upholstery and window dressing recommendations.
